began in 1968 with the purchase of a Male Pointer from Bill Metz. He went
on to become Ch. Waldschloss
Kemo Sahbee. I later purchased a linebred Shandown bitch from Helen
Duggins, Ch. Braemerwood
Shooting Star. She was bred to Ch.
Shandown's Celebration. I did not get what I was looking for in this
litter and then luckily acquired a lovely liver and white bitch from Dr.
Robert F. Parker's Truewithem Pointers, who became the foundation bitch
for Marjetta Pointers. "Donna", as she was called was a closely linebred
bitch on Bryant lines. Her sire was the famous Ch.
Counterpoint's Lord Ashley and her dam Ch.
Truewithem Majestic Triumph.

|I have always admired
the beauty of the English Cocker but it wasn't until a judging assignment
to Finland in 1992 that I considered owning one. On that trip I was very
impressed with the quality of the Cockers I had exhibited to me. I gave
the Group to a lovely red dog called Northworth Clapman. He was bred,
owned and handled by Nina Kauhanen. I started communicating with Nina
and have had several dogs from her. My foundation bitch is Ch.
Northworth Ring Over, bred to Fin.
& Am. Ch. Northworth Madman's Return.
My goal is to breed English type dogs that have the merry temperament that is typical for the breed. I will do my best to breed healthy cockers that are free from inherited diseases.
